http://static.springframework.org/osgi/docs/current/reference/html/app-deploy.html#app-deploy:extender-configuration doesn't relate to http://static.springframework.org/osgi/docs/current/reference/html/appendix-extensions.html#appendix-extensions:annotations which suggests that annotation injection should happen by default, automatically when this is not the case.
